Friday, February 13, 2009 -- A new and very powerful virus is disabling computer systems around the country. Despite having the latest antivirus software, the majority of Mounds View Public Schools servers and computers have become infected. This has disrupted e-mail communications around the District and created a variety of electronic communications problems since Tuesday.

In response, the District's tech team is working around the clock and is visiting every school to reimage the District's 3,500 computers. Obviously this will take some time to accomplish, and we ask for your continued patience.
