Applicants for jobs in the Mounds View Public Schools now have access to all jobs posted in the District any time from a computer with Internet access. Our new job postings include expanded job information and direct e-mail connection with our principals and other administrators responsible for hiring. You will also be able to complete an applicant profile, or an online application, using your e-mail address and a password you create. You only need to complete the applicant profile once but you can access it any time to modify and update your profile. All our job postings are subject to collective bargaining agreements, applicable District policies and State and Federal statutes. Job offers are contingent on completion of a criminal background check and for custodian and food services positions, successful completion of a physical examination.
3. Follow the prompts and complete an on-line application, including your demographic information and resume'.
4. After your applicant profile is established, just click on the open jobs for which you are qualified.
5. The principal or administrator responsible for the job opening will be in contact with you directly if they wish to schedule an on-site interview with you.
Special notes for teacher applicants To be considered for teaching positions with the Mounds View Public Schools, please submit the following information:
- a completed on-line applicant profile (application)
- college transcripts for degrees received and relevant coursework
- at least three professional letters of recommendation from previous supervisors or colleagues
- a copy of a valid Minnesota teaching license

Substitute Teacher Opportunities-
To be considered a substitute teacher, applicants must possess a current Minnesota Teaching license and attend an orientation session. We do not accept 2 year short call license, we do accept life-time short call licenses. An on-line application does not need to be completed for substitute teaching positions only.
Orientation sessions run from 8:30-10:00am and are held at Snail Lake Education Center, located at 350 Hwy 96 W, Shoreview, MN 55126. Each applicant should bring a copy of a current teaching license, $25.00 for the cost of a background check, two documents that establish identity and residency(common forms of identification are driver's license, social security card, passport (not expired) and /or birth certificate), and direct deposit information(voided check).
