Living up to its motto: “Sunnyside provides solid basics and nurtures the highest potential for all students.” New Brighton, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park students learn in a welcoming child-centered environment where the individual needs of each child are respected and met. The Sunnyside program provides many opportunities for students to receive alternative and additional support, both during the school day and after school. To address unique students needs, and to ensure high achievement, small instructional groups in math and reading are formed through the collaborative efforts of staff members throughout the school.
